Classic Vanilla Cake

A timeless favorite that’s easy to bake and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • Vanilla icing or your favorite one

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease two 9-inch cake pans.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  • Using a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually alternate adding flour mixture and milk, mixing until just combined.
  • Divide batter evenly between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool before frosting with your favorite icing.
